Did you know that carrying a warning triangle in your car is a legal requirement in many countries on the Continent?
In Spain, one warning triangle is compulsory for non-Spanish registered vehicles and two for Spanish registered vehicles. However, drivers of non-Spanish registered vehicles should consider carrying two triangles as local officials may impose on-the-spot fines if there is only one.
Don't get caught out; the AA's Warning Triangles is a highly reflective EC-approved model which will warn other drivers of potential hazards in an accident or breakdown situation and comes in a protective plastic container.
Warning Triangles In France
From 1st October 2008 all drivers in France, including drivers of vehicles registered outside of France, must have one warning triangle and one reflective jacket in their vehicle.
This regulation, which we understand does not apply to two and three wheeled vehicles, will be enforced with on-the-spot fines of between €90 and €135.
